The Varsity Baseball Team would
like to invite all PCCA fans to come out to Black Out Night, which is on Friday March 19th at 7:00 PM at Conway Little
League Field. The Eagles will host district rival The First Academy and any PCCA fan that wears black will gain free

JV Baseball got their first win of the season, defeating Lake Nona High
School 19-1 this past Saturday at Conway Little League Field. Anthony Fiola went 4-4 with 2 doubles, a triple and 9 RBI's.
He also was the teams winning pitcher, striking out 8 batters in 4 innings of work. They lost to Olympia High School 12-7 on Tuesday. Jack Romer led the offense with 2 hits. Then on
Wednesday, they lost a close game with St. Cloud High School. Anthony Fiola pitched a complete game, giving up three hits
and striking out six batters in the loss.
High School Boys Volleyball
The Varsity Boys Volleyball Team went 1-1 on the week, losing to Colonial
High School in three games and then getting their first win of the season over Edgewater High School in five games 25-22,
25-18, 18-25, 15-25 and 15-10. Hector Perez led the Eagles with 23 assists and Ken Novak added 13 kills in the win.
Varsity Softball

The Varsity Softball Team will host district opponent The First Academy
this Tuesday at home at 4:30 PM. The Lady Eagles are currently 8-1 on the season and defeated the Royals 15-1 in this seasons
first meeting. They will finish up the week with a road trip to Providence High School in Jacksonville for a matchup of two
top ten 2A softball programs.
High School Track
The Varsity Boys and Girls Track
Team competed in the 16 team Royal Open at First Academy on February 27th. Top performers from Pine Castle included Shontavia House,
who finished 2nd in the shot put and set a school record with a 30'11" throw. Tyler Walko finished 3rd in the pole vault and
Jake Bellet finished 5th place in the 300M hurdles. The Eagles also got 8th place finishes from Kelvin Jefferson in the long
jump and Savanna Jones in the discus.
Varsity Boys & Girls Tennis
The Boys & Girls Teams played Masters Academy this past Tuesday at
Red Bug Lake Courts with the Boys team losing 5-2 and the Girls winning 6-1. On the Boys side, the Eagles got singles wins
from Andrew Sutton and Chris Casella while on the girls side Melissa Harvard, Aly Taulbee, Jade Yuen and Liana Bui all won
their singles matches. Pine Castles girls also won both of their doubles matches over Masters.

The
Middle School Softball Team lost to Foundation Academy this past Monday night 12-3. Alex Thomas led the Lady Eagles with
a homerun and a triple and Jessica Nettles added a single in the loss. The team is now off for
the rest of the week with an adjustment to the league schedule. They will complete their regular season next Monday night
with a double header at Masters Academy starting at 4:30 PM. They will conclude their season with the League Tournament on
Saturday March 27th at The First Academy.

Offensive Lineman Ryan Girardin and defensive linemen Devin
Miles and Josh Kerlin were all named to the 1B First Team All State Team this past week. Linebacker Conrad Walko
and punter Tyler Walko were both named to the 2nd team, while quarterback Michael Slack received honorable mention recognition
as well. Congratulations to all six on being recognized as some of the best football players in their classification
in the state of Florida.

The 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team won the GMAC League Championship
over First Academy last week with a 28-14 victory in the championship game. Camper Van Dyke led the Eagles with 9 points,
followed by Jared Anderson with 8 points and Stephen Marinas with 7 points. The team advanced to the championship game with
a 57-21 win in the semifinals over Masters Academy. Isaac Anderson led the Eagles with 14 points, with Stephen Marinas and
Jared Anderson both also scoring in double figures. The team finished the season with a 13-1 record and we would like to congratulate
Coach Dan Scheid and the entire team on a great season.

The Orlando
Touchdown Club honored Josh Kerlin as the Week 10 Defensive Player of the week and Conrad Walko as the Week 11 Defensive of
the Week. Josh set a school record with 5 sacks and Conrad had 19 tackles. They were invited to Varsity Club to receive
their awards and hear guest speaker Paul Kennedy of SunSports Network.
Showdown for the Scepter

The Varsity Football Team defeated The First Academy 26-20 last Friday
night and returned the Scepter to Pine Castle. Daniel Doll scored the game winning 4 yard touchdown with 37 seconds left in
the game and the Eagles recovered the following kickoff to secure the victory. Senior Quarterback Michael Slack
rushed the ball 15 times for 140 yards and one touchdown and was 6 for 9 for 107 yards passing, including a 68 yard touchdown
pass to Jake Bellet. The defense was led by Devin Miles, Tyler and Conrad Walko who each had over 10 tackles and a sack
by Miles.

FACA District 10 1B Player & Coach of the Year

David Langdon Congratulations to David Langdon and Michael Slack on being named as the Football District Coach
and Player of the Year. Coach Langdon has been the Varsity Football Coach at Pine Castle for 5 years, compiling a 38-15 record
and winning 3 District Championships and 1 District Runner-Up. This year his team has gone 7-1 (6-0 District) heading
into the final game of the season.

Michael Slack Michael Slack, the Eagles starting senior Quarterback, has led the team in rushing with 539
yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. He has also set school single season records with 844 yards passing and 11 passing touchdowns.
